About

ENGAGE LARAMIE SCIENCE is a curated, collaborative project featuring content created by students of University of Wyoming courses about science communication.

Science communication courses at the University of Wyoming provide hands-on experience communicating within and beyond science disciplines.

By researching, writing, and recording audio guides for a selection of public artworks throughout Laramie, radio segments for the WyoBio Minute series on the Cowboy Radio Network, giving interactive public presentations, and maintaining this blog, we have created, interpreted, and shared our writing, research, and thinking about how our research impacts our own field, daily life, and myriad other topics and situations.

This site is a project of the University of Wyoming Science Communication Initiative, a grassroots, campus-wide initiative which envisions a campus community that values, supports, and creates effective science communication and engagement.
